Mother's Day Breakfast and Chapel
We are warmly inviting our HopePoint Mums to celebrate Mother’s Day with us at a special morning event on Friday 8 May from 7.45am.

The day will begin with a shared breakfast for Mother's and their children to share in this time together. This will be followed by chapel, where we take time to honour, give thanks and celebrate mothers and mother figures.
We look forward to celebrating this special occasion together. The event will conclude after chapel at 10.00am.
Kindly note that this year there will be no Mother's Day stall.
Cross Country Next Week
Our school Cross Country will be held on Tuesday 5 May on the school grounds, with students in Years 2–6 participating in age-based races (2km for ages 8–10 and 3km for ages 11–12). The event will begin around 11:30am with younger students first and conclude around 1:20pm with older students finishing.
Students should wear their sports shorts, house T-shirt and white shoes, bringing shorts to change into if needed. Please also ensure any asthma plans and medication are up to date with the office. Students who place in the top four and meet qualifying times may progress to represent the school at the State Cross Country. Parents are welcome to attend, and those interested in helping are encouraged to make contact with Miss Stephenson by emailing: e.stephenson@hpcs.nsw.edu.au

After School Activities - Starting Next Week
All after school activities for Term 2 will start in Week 3 (week starting 4 May) and end in Week 11 (week starting 29 June). All families whose children are participating in after-school activities have now been informed via email.
K - 1 Soccer: Every Monday, 3.30pm-4.15pm
K - 2 Dance: Every Tuesday, 3.30pm-4.15pm
2 - 6 Soccer: Every Wednesday, 3.30pm-4.30pm
3 - 6 Dance: Every Thursday, 3.30pm-4.30pm
Winter Uniform and School Photo Day
Students are to be in full winter uniform from Week 3 in Term 2.

A kind reminder that all students need to wear full winter uniform for our Whole School Photo Day on Thursday 14 May.
CSSA Football Trials
Big Congratulations to our CSSA RepresentativesAurora Francis and Willow Schofield who proudly represented our school at the CSSA Football trials held on Friday, 24th April. Competing alongside talented students from across the region, both girls demonstrated impressive skills, determination, teamwork, and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day.
We extend a special congratulations to Aurora Francis, who was selected for the CSSA Primary Girls Football Team for 2026. This is an incredible and well-deserved accomplishment that reflects her dedication and hard work both on and off the field.
Aurora will go on to compete at the Combined Independent School Championships (CIS) on Friday, 12th June. We wish her every success as she takes this exciting next step.
