UWA Music Masterclasses – check various dates
Masterclasses give students a unique opportunity to develop their skills, hone their craft, and succeed in their musical endeavours. UWA are delighted to offer a variety of masterclasses with national and international guest artists.

15 April UWA ATAR Music Bootcamp for Years 10 – 12
Dive into practical workshops led by some of Australia’s leading musicians. UWA's program is carefully designed around the ATAR Music syllabus, with sessions on practice strategies, aural and theory skills, performance etiquette, composition and more. Masterclasses and Performance Workshops give you the chance to perform for an expert panel and receive tailored feedback, including guidance on practice techniques, exam etiquette and managing nerves. 22 April Engineering Showcase Evening
Discover why engineering is such a great profession and how ECU can provide you with an excellent start to a highly rewarding career. The evening will begin with light refreshments at 4:30 PM, followed by a presentation at 5:00 PM. Afterward, you will be taken on a tour of our state-of-the-art engineering facilities. You’ll also hear from current students and alumni who will share their experiences at ECU and discuss their smooth transition into exciting industry roles. Plus, you’ll have the chance to engage with our academic staff.

23 April UWA NextGen Music
Build confidence in your music studies with this engaging WASO concert, conducted by John Keene and presented by Dr Ashley Smith, with UWA music students performing side-by-side with WASO. Designed to support secondary music students, the concert explores the ATAR set works through clear discussion, highlighting key compositional techniques and providing detailed analysis to help students connect with the music and their learning.

28 April UniPrep Information Evening
ECU’s University Preparation Course – or UniPrep – is a free program that gets you ready for university level study by teaching you the skills required for academic success – with an emphasis on you becoming an independent learner. UniPrep is open to anyone who hasn't been at school for a while, to students who are currently completing high school, or to recent school leavers who didn't get the result they’d hoped for. UWA Accelerate! Music Scholarships for Years 10 - 12
Accelerate! are UWA Music’s free scholarship programs for talented secondary students in Years 10-12, who want to elevate their performance skills. Across the year, participants work with leading UWA staff and guest artists through workshops, masterclasses and bootcamps, with a focus on practical skills you can apply straight away. Accelerate is a full scholarship program, so there is no cost to participants.
