This resource is developed by the Lutheran Church of Australia and is intended to be a guide in sharing faith activities with members of your family.
Here are a few ways you could introduce faith discussions in your home and day-to-day life.
This week the Bible verses describe the story of ‘doubting’ Thomas. Jesus appeared to his disciples after rising from the dead, but Thomas did not believe it was true. He wanted to see and touch the wounds in Jesus’ hands to confirm he really was alive. Jesus responded, saying Thomas had believed Jesus had risen from the dead because he had seen him with his own eyes, but those who believe this is true without seeing the proof will be blessed.

Lord God, as our bodies are fed with good gifts from you, please bless us with Easter peace, joy, hope and faith. Amen.
Lord Jesus bless us with faith in you. Help us to find a way through our doubts. Amen.
(Child’s Name) May the risen Lord Jesus replace your doubts with faith, your worries with peace, and your sadness with joy. Amen.
On behalf of the St Paul Lutheran Church community, we pray for a safe school holiday for all staff and children, with the opportunity to rest and recover after a busy term and the chance to return refreshed and re-energised for Term 2.
