A big thank you to our Year 5/6 students who proudly carried the Project Compassion boxes among the crowd at last Sunday’s 80th Anniversary celebrations.

The funds they collected will be added to our grand total, which will be shared in next week’s newsletter.

Thank you for your ongoing generosity in supporting those in need.

HOLY WEEK

This weekend marks the beginning of the most important time in the Catholic Church—Holy Week. It is a sacred time of reflection and prayer as we prepare to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday.

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week. It remembers Jesus’ joyful entry into Jerusalem, where people welcomed him by waving palm branches.

Holy Thursday recalls the Last Supper, when Jesus shared a meal with his disciples and showed them how to serve others with love and humility.

Good Friday is a solemn day when we remember Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross,

reflecting on his great love for all people.

The school will commemorate the journey of Jesus during Holy Week through scripture and prayer in The Hub on Monday 30th March, starting at approximately 2.35 pm, everyone is welcome.

Please check the parish bulletin for the times of the various Masses and ceremonies during Holy Week, and we encourage you to attend as a family where possible.

March

For disarmament and peace

Let us pray that

nations move toward effective disarmament, particularly nuclear disarmament, and that world leaders choose the path of dialogue and diplomacy instead of violence.

Amen
