Pope Leo XIV’s August Intention: Praying for Mutual Coexistence

In his August message, Pope Leo XIV invites us to pray for mutual coexistence that societies burdened by ethnic, political, religious, or ideological divisions may instead choose dialogue, compassion and fraternity. In this powerful video, the Holy Father urges us to “build bridges” and open our hearts to others, believing that diversity enriches our humanity. Celebrating the Feast Day of St Mary MacKillop – Friday, 8 August

We warmly invite our school community to join in celebrating St Mary of the Cross

 MacKillop, Australia’s first saint, whose Feast Day is observed annually on 8 August.

St  Mary MacKillop dedicated her life to serving the poor and founding schools across Australia, showing unwavering faith, compassion and a pioneering spirit in education and social justice

God of all blessings, you revealed in Mary MacKillop a sensitivity to the rights and dignity of every person, regardless of race or creed. May we learn from her to overcome the obstacles of prejudice and fear. Help us to value the goodness of each person and all the blessings of unity in diversity. We ask this through the depth and unity of you, our bountiful God, who hold all things in being. Amen
