Messages from the Front Office

Acknowledgement to country
We at Marangaroo Primary school
Would like to say thank you to the Noongar people of the Wadjuk country.
For letting us share this land:
We promise to look after,
The land, the animals, and our people.
School Access
Parents and carers are reminded that after the siren has gone at 8:45am, all access to the school for students and parents, must be via the front office. If you are accompanying students who are arriving late to class, we ask that you drop off and depart swiftly so as not to disrupt the morning routines and teaching time.
Parents and carers coming to school during the school day for any reason, must also come to the office and not go directly to the classroom as this creates unnecessary distractions to the class.
Pokemon Club
The MPS Pokémon club would like to extent a huge THANK YOU to Good Games North, for working with us to upgrade our Pokémon deck collections and storage. They kindly gave our school discounts on a large number of products meaning that we could acquire some 60 card decks, evolving our 30 card starter decks, along with sleaves to protect them and deck boxes to keep them together and safe.
We would not have been able to extend these resources if not for their support and we are very grateful. If you would like to stock up on anything TCG or board games, their website is Good Games North – Good Games and they are located at 3/22 Franklin Ln, Joondalup just off Winton Rd across from Zone Bowling.
School Photos - last chance...
As another school year is drawing to a close, Kapture Photography is allowing last chance photo orders.
All photos are currently still available to purchase, but they will be removed from their website at the end of Term 4 in readiness for next year.
Wanneroo Uniforms
A reminder that the school no longer has a uniform shop operating onsite. For all school uniform needs, please visit the Wanneroo Uniforms shop front at Unit 1/16 Prindiville Drive Wangara.

Don't Bin it, Bring it - Officeworks recycling campaign
Officeworks runs a School Recycling Program with competitions where schools can win gift cards by returning full boxes of eligible items for recycling. The program aims to promote sustainability and divert waste from landfills. Each school that returns a full box has a chance to win a $250 gift card.
Marangaroo PS is taking part in the markers and pens recycling campaign. Each class will have a container for recycling old pens, markers and textas (no pencils) and once our school box is full, we will submit it for recycling and enter the draw to win a $250 Officeworks voucher for our school.
