100 Days of Kindergarten

On Friday 3rd July, Kindergarten celebrated their first 100 days of school with a special celebration. Students were invited to dress up for the day according to the theme 'When I am 100 years old...' .

In the morning session, students posed for photos with their classes and then attended their very own screening of Bee Movie in the hall with popcorn and a juice popper.

After lunch, classes engaged in a variety of craft activities including making portraits of themselves at 100 years old and creating pasta necklaces. All students had the chance to reflect on how much they had grown in their first two terms of Kindergarten at St Johns Park Public School.

For our final session, students enjoyed some structured developmental and social play with their peers. As a lasting memory of the day, each student took home a photo keepsake of themselves.

100 Days of Kindergarten was a wonderful celebration of how much our kindergarten students have grown in their first 100 days at 'big' school.

We are excited to share the next 100 days and beyond learning and growing together.
