Mathew 10:37-42
As disciples of Jesus, we are to love Jesus with our whole hearts, and we are to welcome, or receive, others with love, friendship, and generosity. When we choose to be loving and welcoming, we are showing our love for Jesus and for all people.
How have you shown love, kindness or friendship to someone this week, and how did it make them feel welcomed?
Who is someone you can welcome or include more often, and what could you do to show them Jesus' love?
How does loving and welcoming others help us grow as disciples of Jesus in our family, school and community?
Congratulations on your First Eucharist !
Congratulations to the students who received the Sacrament of the Eucharist. This is a very special milestone in your faith journey, and we are so proud of each of you.
As you received Jesus in Holy Communion for the first time, may your hearts be filled with His love, peace and grace.
We pray that this is the first of many Holy Communions you will receive throughout your life. May you continue to attend Mass regularly, grow in faith, and experience the joy of being part of God's family.
