Student Code of Conduct
At our school, we are committed to providing safe and positive learning environments for all students. We’re introducing the revised Student Code of Conduct and School Behaviour Support and Management Plan that will be implemented at our school next term. This will help everyone understand what behaviour is expected and make sure every student feels safe and supported.
Strengthening our approach to bullying
At our school, every child deserves to feel safe, respected and supported. That's why we take all concerns about bullying—including online behaviour by students during school hours—very seriously.
The Student Code of Conduct sets clear expectations for behaviour across all NSW public schools. It is designed to help all students understand what is expected of them and support them to be successful. It also helps us make our school an environment where every student feels safe, included and supported.
We want every student to feel safe, respected and ready to learn.
That's why we have three simple expectations for all students:
Respect everyone
Be responsible
Be safe
These expectations apply wherever students are in the classroom, the playground, on excursions, online during school hours, or in school uniform in the community.
We encourage you to read and discuss the Student Code of Conduct with your child. Talking about these expectations at home can help your child understand how they contribute to a positive, respectful learning environment.
From 2027, students and parents or carers will be asked to confirm that they have read and understood the Student Code of Conduct.

By working together, we can help create a school where every child feels safe, included and supported to learn.
Sporting Success
Over the last few weeks, our school has achieved outstanding success in a range of sports and events. We have had students competing at the state level both individually and in group/team situations. Please check out the next few pages of our newsletter for more information. I am so proud of our achievements and our students. Well done everyone!
New Senior School Leaders
Our new senior school leaders for 2027 were formally announced and inducted at today's assembly. Congratulations to the students below on their election. I look forward to working with you all in your new roles. Congratulations!
I would also like to acknowledge our outgoing school leaders for their leadership over the last 12 months. It has been wonderful to work with you all in a range of events and opportunities. Thank you to Eloise Oxley, Hannah Khan, Sarah Canning and Jack Young. (Please note our primary school leaders will continue in their role until the end of Term 4)
Farewell Year 12 - Class of 2026 - Celebrating Your Journey
Dear Students of Year 12
As another HSC school year draws to a close, it is time to bid a fond farewell to all of our Year 12 students, the graduating class of 2026. You have reached a significant milestone at Uralla Central School, and we could not be prouder of your dedication, resilience, and achievements throughout your journey. While your time as students here is ending, your paths are only just beginning.
Next week, on Thursday 24 September, we invite all Year 12 students and your families to join us for the official Year 12 Graduation Farewell. This special event will be held in the school hall from 11:30am, offering our community the opportunity to celebrate and reflect together. Following the farewell ceremony, light refreshments will be served. We hope to see you all there as we mark this momentous occasion for our Year 12's, commemorating your final day as Uralla Central School students.
Although we are saying goodbye, we know your HSC journey is not quite over yet. The first five weeks of Term 4 will see you tackling your HSC exams—an important step toward your future studies and careers. We wish you every success and encourage you to approach these exams with the same persistence and passion you have shown throughout your schooling.
Finally, after exams, the much-anticipated Year 12 Formal will take place on Friday 6 November. This will be the perfect occasion to celebrate your accomplishments and friendships, making lasting memories as you embark on your next adventure.
Congratulations, Year 12. Thank you for your contribution to Uralla Central School. We wish you all the best for your exams and life beyond school.
Library Roof Upgrade
During the upcoming school holidays, the Department's Asset Management Team will be replacing the roof on the library. This involves the removal of asbestos, as a result, there cannot be anyone on-site for the first few days on the school holidays. Please see offical notification below:
