G'day everyone,

As of the most recent meeting the P&C has had a couple of changes, and some exciting updates regarding fundraising results.

Sadly we have had 2 members resign their executive positions, we would like to thank both Peta Swilks & Sonya Gibson for your amazing contributions to the P&C and supporting our Rocky River Students to thrive!

We would like to welcome and thank you for accepting the nominations and stepping into their new executive roles;

• Dylan de Vree as Treasurer
• Kel Nathan as Vice President and Canteen convenor
• Lauren Higgins as Vice President and Newsletter support

• Bek Breedon as Uniform convenor

Now the exciting stuff you're all interested in, fundraising and the results!!Profits from everyone's amazing efforts and contributions will be going towards the P&C’s contribution to the Upper Division excursion to Great Aussie Bush Camp.

Thank you to Peta & Sonya for organising the pie drive fundraiser, which has made a profit of $764.40.

Thank you to all the volunteers organising and running the Bunnings BBQ, to Adam at Bunnings for the opportunity to fundraise, and to Bodhi at Coles Armidale for donation of $50 voucher towards our sausage purchases. With everyone's combined efforts we have raised an amazing $1040.65 profit!

A massive thank you to the Regional Australia Bank Uralla for their ongoing support. Peta Swilks attended the Community Partnership Project presentation on Wednesday the 26th of August and accepted on the behalf of the P&C Association a very generous $2380.72!!!

Thanks to everyone who participated and supported our amazing fundraising events, we couldn't do it without our amazing community support! Thank you for supporting our Rocky River Students!

Raffle time is closing in quickly, our lovely Principal Dani Clyde-Smith will be drawing the lucky winning ticket this Friday the 4th of September at 2pm, so if you haven't got your tickets yet there's still time to win 2 tickets to see the woman's and mens NRL GRAND FINAL!! Sales close at 10am on Friday the 4th of September.

Thunderbolts festival is around the corner and this year's theme is DISCO! It will be held on Saturday 24th October. We are looking for volunteers and donations of home baked goods for our BBQ & cake stall, along with a flat bed truck and driver for the event that we can decorate and use as a float for the kids. Please reach out to either Stef or Ali via whatsapp to be added to the Thunderbolts planning group.

We truly appreciate any and all support we receive from our amazing community of Parents and local members, we would love your support and input at our next meeting at 5pm, Monday the 26th of October, see you there!
