Years 9 and 10 Subject Changes Semester 2

There will be no changes to subjects for students in Years 9 and 10 after the end of Week 4, Term 3 (21 August). We encourage students to think carefully about any change and be aware that some courses are already full.

Years 9 and 10 Subject Selection Reminder

On 6 August, students and parents were emailed details on how to choose their subjects via Web Preferences, and received a link to the Year 9 and 10 Coursebook. Subject choices are due on Monday 17 August.

We encourage students and families to think carefully about their subject choices, and to talk to their teachers about options.

Hodgkin has closed the gap with outstanding performances, winning both the Year 9/10 and Year 11/12 House Netball competitions to move to 6,794 points. Ransome remains well within striking distance on 6,223 points and will be looking to make their move this term.

  • Week 5: Aquatics Carnival Tuesday 25 August

It has been fantastic to see the enthusiasm, participation and House spirit across the Senior Campus. Years 7-12 House Aquatics Carnival - Tuesday 25 August, 8.30am-1.30pm

The Years 7–12 House Swimming Carnival will be held at the Hobart Aquatic Centre (1 Davies Avenue, Hobart) on Tuesday 25 August from 8.30am to 1.30pm.

Students are to make their own way to the Aquatic Centre, arriving by 8.30am to sign in at the registration tables located near the 50m pool before proceeding to their House area.

Students should wear their Friends' sports uniform to and from the carnival and bring swimmers, a towel, goggles (optional), a House-coloured swim cap, and water bottle. Students are encouraged to wear House colours and support their House throughout the day.
