Prayer

Feast of St Augustine (August 28)
Yesterday, the Catholic Church remembered the Feast of St Augustine. Son of St. Monica, he started his life with partying and sin. With the prayers from his mother and friend, St. Ambrose, Augustine converted to the Catholic faith. He wrote Confessions and became a priest and bishop.
“You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in You.”
St Augustine's Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit,
That my thoughts may all be holy.
Act in me, O Holy Spirit,
That my work, too, may be holy.
Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit,
That I love but what is holy.
Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit,
To defend all that is holy.
Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit,
That I always may be holy.
