A Note from the Principal

Mr Ross Jardine

Dear Toogoolawah SHS community,

The past fortnight has been filled with highlights, and I want to thank our staff, students and families for the energy you bring to school life each day.

Our students have represented Toogoolawah SHS with pride in so many different ways, from outstanding behaviour on the Rewards Trip to Indooroopilly, to Lorelai’s impressive equestrian results across multiple shows, and our Year 9s embracing the challenges of camp with teamwork, laughter and reflection. These achievements remind us that success comes in many forms and that effort and commitment are always worth celebrating.

Looking ahead, there are some important dates to keep in mind:

  • Year 12 Graduation – Thursday 20 November
  • Leaving Parade & Formal – Friday 21 November
  • Night at the Museum – Tuesday 16 September, 4.00–5.30pm in B01/B02
  • Year 8 Camp payment ($200) – due Friday 12 September
  • Harding Miller Scholarship Applications – closing Monday 1 September

Thank you to parents and carers for your ongoing support with uniforms, resource scheme payments and encouraging routines at home that help our young people thrive.

Together, these small, consistent efforts create the safe and focused learning environment our students deserve.

Let’s finish this term strong and continue to build on the positive momentum we’ve created.

Warm regards,

Ross Jardine

Principal
