Lightning Prem by Valerie B
Lightning Prem is an exciting opportunity to spend a day playing mini matches against other schools in your chosen sport. The event is dedicated to cheering on your teammates, learning different positions and skills and of course, having fun!
For kids, it feels like a mini-Olympics. Buses full of classmates, fields buzzing with energy, and the trill of representing your school. Even if your team doesn’t win, the fun of being together, making new friends, and sharing the highs and lows makes it unforgettable.
By the end of the day everyone heads home, worn out but grinning, with plenty of stories to share and moments to remember. Lightning Prem isn’t just a sports carnival- it’s about teamwork, school pride, and the joy of giving your best while having fun with your friends.
What actually is Lightning Prem…
Lightning Premiership is a big one‑day sports day where heaps of schools come together and play a bunch of quick games. Everyone gets to compete, run around, and represent their school, and the whole day is packed with energy and action. Schools from the same area come together, rotate through different opponents, and play sports like footy, soccer, or netball. It’s organised and competitive, but still fun and energetic, with everyone getting plenty of game time and a chance to represent their school.
