What's been happening this week?

JSC ICE-CREAM DAY
Today our JSC completed their first fundraiser for the year. This group of students has been enthusiastic and community minded since the beginning of the year. They have created interesting, achievable goals and have provided opportunities for everyone to have student voice through collecting feedback from all of the classes.
Thanks to Hugo, Harry, Kai and Britta for looking after the finances whilst we were selling ice-creams today. It is a big responsibility to ensure that everyone receives the correct change and to keep the money safe.
Thanks to the workers in the canteen, Zeph, Alice, Elroy, Patrick, Cami, Kieva, Kate, Brianna, Emily and Ben M. You worked so well as a team to set up, scoop the super hard ice cream and serve the customers at the canteen. We all learned how tricky it is to work in gloves and how easy it is to put your thumb through an ice cream cone.
And of course a big thanks to the families for supporting our fundraiser and sending your children along with some spending money.
Tracey, Mie-Mie and the amazing JSC.
MATHS WITH POKEMON
The 5/6s have been doing some fun maths warm ups with Pokemon!
INQUIRY SHOWCASE
The Year 3/4 students were proud to showcase their Inquiry information reports to the Year 1/2 students. Their topics included the Sun, deserts, volcanoes and global warming. Students presented their projects using PowerPoint presentations and spoke with confidence and enthusiasm to their junior peers.
