Wodonga TAFE Motorsports and Logic Campus Open Day -  Saturday 5th September

Have you ever dreamed of getting your hands on the engine of a high-performance race car? Imagined yourself as the mechanic behind a championship-winning team, ensuring every gear shift and pit stop is perfect? Now's your chance to make that dream a reality.

Motorsport Training Australia's Open Day is your ticket to exploring the thrilling world of motorsport mechanics. Whether you're just starting out or looking to accelerate your career, this event is designed to ignite your passion and set you on the fast track to success. 

Join us on Saturday 5 September 2026, 9am-1:30pm at our facility in Barnawartha North!  

What's on:

• Hop into the operator's seat on earthmoving equipment — excavators, skid steers, cranes, and more
• Ride-along truck experience with a licensed instructor
• Forklift games — bowling and basketball, because training should be fun
• Motorsport workshop tours through the MTA facility next door
• Free woodfired pizza, fairy floss, snowcones, and barista coffee
• Industry partners and employers on site across transport, logistics, automotive, and civil construction
• Trainers, instructors, and support staff available to walk you through study pathways, enrolment, and licensing

Deakin Accelerate Webinar

This webinar is designed for students in year 10 and 11 and their parents. The webinar covers information on Deakin’s Accelerate program, giving high-achieving students a headstart with university level study during Year 12. Information will be provided on how the program works with information from past students. Registrations are required -

Workshop Features:

This free online session will provide students with practical strategies around motivation, effective study, managing distractions and procrastination, goal setting and feedback. This session is recommended for both students, staff and parents

Vocational Scholarship

Rural Chances Vocational Scholarship – Applications close Monday 19th October

Scholarships valued at $5000 assist young people to meet costs associated with vocational training including tools of trade, moving out/accommodation and extensive travel required to complete training qualifications. Rural Chances scholarship recipients will receive extra care from a mentor along with leadership and networking opportunities.

Rural Chances can help if you:

• Have to travel long distances or move away from home to gain qualifications, or
• Struggle with the many expenses associated with training and building your skills, and
• Would like mentoring and networking opportunities.
