Acting Assistant Principal
Shantelle Stimson
I am very excited to have stepped into the Acting Assistant Principal role this term. Over the first few days, I’ve already seen strong learning behaviours, positive interactions and students demonstrating pride in our school community. The start of Term 3 has been calm, settled, and full of great examples of our values in action. Our values of kindness, respect, and confidence are at the heart of who we are as a school and Term 3 is a wonderful opportunity for us to keep living them out. Kindness shows in the small things like including others, offering support and making sure everyone feels they belong. Respect is reflected in the way we speak to one another, how we care for our learning spaces and the thought we put into our actions. Confidence grows when we participate, take on challenges and recognise the progress we’re making. When we uphold these values together, we create a school environment where everyone can be their best and feel proud of what they contribute.
I really appreciate the effort students and families have put into arriving at school in correct uniform. Just a reminder if a student is unexpectedly unable to wear the correct uniform, please bring a signed note from home and wear something as close to the school uniform as possible. Thanks again for representing the school in such a positive way.
Please see the attached Student Dress Code Policy if you’d like more information.
We have made a change in Term 3 to the way that students are supervised when they leave the school grounds for Lunch Passes. Students in Years 7–11 who request and have parent permission (physical note signed by parents) to purchase their lunch down the street will now be escorted. This change is being introduced to strengthen duty of care, reduce risk, and ensure students remain supervised while off‑site. Students will meet at the office, sign out and walk to and from the shops as a group with the supervising staff member (SEL or Leadership).
