Year 7 Boys/Mixed Netball

The Year 7 Boys/Mixed Netball Team proudly represented Yarrabing College at the Western Metropolitan Regional Competition after winning both of their qualifying matches on Thursday, 21 May.

The regional competition was held on Monday 3 August, where the team built on their earlier success with an outstanding display of teamwork, determination and resilience. They began the day with a strong performance, winning their first match by six goals.

In their second game, the team demonstrated incredible perseverance. After trailing by 16 goals at the start of the final quarter, they fought back with great intensity and teamwork, reducing the margin to just five goals by the final siren.

Congratulations to all of the students who represented Yarrabing College. You displayed exceptional sportsmanship, teamwork and Yarrabing spirit throughout both tournaments. We are incredibly proud of your efforts and congratulate you on reaching the Western Metropolitan Regional Finals.
