Around our School

National Simultaneous Storytime
National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is an annual Australian campaign that promotes reading and literacy by having millions of children across the country gather to read the exact same picture book at the exact same time.
This was held today on 27 May at 12pm and this year's book was 'Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller', an inspiring, tail-thumping underdog story about courage, determination, and teamwork.
Following the story, Year 1 turned into illustrators and drew Luna Roo.

First Eucharist Artworks
'Body, blood, soul, and divinity' refers to the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.
When the sun shines through year 4's door, it accentuates Jesus' face through their Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity watercolour artworks they created in the lead up to celebrating their First Eucharist.
