Murray River Canoe Camp
Year 11 Outdoor Education students undertaking the accelerated Year 12 subject recently took part in their Murray River Canoe Camp. Students developed their canoeing skills, teamwork, and understanding of the river environment, while exploring the historical and cultural connections to the Murray River.
Wilsons Prom Camp
Our VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies students recently took on the Great Ocean Walk. Over three days, students travelled from Blanket Bay to Johanna Beach, camping along the way in the Great Otway National Park. The experience gave students the opportunity to explore diverse environments, develop their bushwalking and camping skills, and learn more about caring for the environment while enjoying the outdoors.
These camps are always something our students really look forward to each year, and by the looks of the photos, they had an amazing time!
Mt Arapiles Camp
The camps just keep coming! This time it was our Year 10 students completing the accelerated Year 11 Outdoor Education subject heading off on the Mt Arapiles Camp.
Over the two days, students pushed themselves outside their comfort zones as they spent their days scaling the rocks. One thing was clear throughout the camp, these students know how to work as a team and support each other every step of the way!
