A Prayer for Families Reflecting on Their Journey Through Lent
Loving Father,
As we journey together through this season of Lent, we pause to reflect on the path we have walked as a family. We thank You for the grace that has sustained us and for the strength You have provided in times of challenge.
Help us to recognise the opportunities for growth in our hearts and in our relationships. May we grow in patience, understanding, and love for one another, as we seek to follow Your example of self-sacrifice and compassion.
We pray that You would guide our family as we deepen our commitment to prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Let these practices bring us closer to You and to each other, so that we may grow in holiness and reflect Your love in our home and beyond.
Grant us the wisdom to see the blessings in each moment, and the courage to walk in faith, trusting in Your guidance. May this time of reflection help us to shed the burdens that weigh us down, so that we may fully embrace the joy of Easter.
Family Reflection Question
We offer our journey to You, O Lord, knowing that You walk beside us every step of the way. May our family continue to grow in love and faith, and may we share the hope and light of Your Resurrection with those around us.
In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.

Feast of Saint Patrick Celebration
Our Year 6 School Captains, Social Justice Captains, Ministry Captains, and our three Year 6 Class Captains recently attended a special Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral, joining over 3,000 students from across Victoria to celebrate the feast of Saint Patrick. It was a vibrant and joyful occasion, bringing together school communities in faith and celebration.
Following the Mass, students enjoyed a picnic where they had the opportunity to play, mingle, and connect with others. The day concluded with an energetic concert featuring Catholic school rock bands, creating a fun and memorable end to a meaningful experience.

Our Social Justice Captains will be visiting classrooms this week to collect all Project Compassion boxes that are on the class prayer tables.
There is still time to make a difference! It’s not too late to contribute a few gold coins and support this important initiative. Every small act of generosity helps bring hope and support to those in need.
Thank you for your kindness and for living out our call to care for others.

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION
Last week, our Year 3 students took a special step in their faith journey by receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. It was a beautiful and reflective ceremony presided by Father Dishan and Father Samuel, where each child had the opportunity to experience God's love, mercy, and forgiveness in a deeply personal way.
Through learning about the importance of saying sorry, making things right, and being open to God’s grace, our students discovered how this sacrament helps restore relationships, renew hearts, and bring peace. The children reflected on the meaning of forgiveness, not only receiving it from God but also offering it to others.
The teachers were incredibly proud of their reverence, courage, and the way they embraced this important moment. Please continue to keep our Year 3s in your prayers as they grow in their faith and understanding of God’s unending love.
