Celebrating Saints Centenary
2026 will mark a monumental moment for our community — 100 seasons of the St Virgil’s Old Scholars Football Club.
Across a full century, the Saints have been a proud extension of the Old Virgilians spirit. We’ve celebrated great victories, endured some tough days, and built lifelong friendships along the way. For many of us, the Club has been the place where our connection to St Virgil’s continued long after school, through the people, the values and the unwavering blue, green and gold.
This Centenary season is about more than football. It’s about community, identity, and connection. Whether you pulled on the jumper, coached, ran water, cheered from the stands, or simply loved the Saints from afar, this milestone belongs to you too. We want to bring as many Old Virgilians as possible back into the fold. The more Saints we have together in Year 100, the stronger and more meaningful this celebration will be.
How you can be part of it
The Club has launched a Centenary Halo Club — a revitalised supporter membership offering with both local & Interstate options. It’s the perfect way to stay connected, receive some great perks and help sustain the Club heading into the next 100 years.
There are also Centenary Jumper Sponsorship packages — giving individuals and businesses the opportunity to support a Sainter, but also receive some great perks and again help sustain the Club. Ultimately, the Club says its greatest hope for the Centenary isn’t just strong numbers, it’s strong connection. "We want to see the Can Bar full, the energy high, and Saints young and old coming together to celebrate the community that shaped us.
