Students preparing to receive the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist will take part in a Commitment Mass this weekend, before their Sacramental Mass at the Sacred Heart Cathedral on Sunday June 2nd at Sacred Heart Cathedral with Bishop Shane McKinlay as the celebrant.
Students who would like to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation and Eucharist next year will need to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in Term 3 this year. If you have any sacrament questions please contact Cassie cpolonowita@smkangarooflat.catholic.edu.au.
Class masses are held most Fridays at 9.30am at St Monica's church.

Our Cluster Parishes are looking for new altar servers. Recruitment is open for those who have received their Confirmation and First Eucharist and are willing to serve in the Church. Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC) who Have Reached Catechetical Age
The Sacred Heart Cathedral Cluster of Parishes invites children aged 7+ and are interested in becoming Catholic to enrol in our RCIC Program. This program is “intended for children, not baptised as infants, who have attained the use of reason and are of catechetical age (7 years old and over). They seek Christian initiation either at the direction of their parents or guardians or, with parental permission, on their own initiative.” (RCIA, 306)
