Update on Liv Eat
We wanted to provide you with an update regarding Liv Eat.
Liv Eat has decided to focus on their local store and has requested to pause their delivery service to DCS for the time being. We know this service will be greatly missed by many of our families. We would like to extend a huge thank you to John and the entire Liv Eat team for their hard work and dedication in bringing fresh, delicious food to our school every Friday.
As this was a new initiative, there were naturally some challenges along the way, and we sincerely appreciate the effort and commitment they showed in making it a success. We hope that this service may return in the future, and we wish John and the team at Liv Eat Devonport all the very best. In the meantime, Subway orders will continue to be available on Wednesdays through Canteen Hub.
The DCS Community has also been discussing alternative options and would love to hear from anyone who may be interested in operating a canteen service on site. Perhaps you already own a food van or catering business and would be interested in using our facilities one day a week to provide lunches for our students and staff.

Entertainment Membership

Community Pantry Donations
DCS Community is excited to establish a Community Pantry, which is available for families to access three times each week Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 2.30pm-3.00pm.
We are seeking support from families who have productive vegetable gardens, fruit trees, or an abundance of homegrown produce. If you enjoy gardening and would like to share your harvest with others in our school community, we would greatly appreciate donations of fresh fruit and vegetables throughout the term.
If you have a regular supply of produce available and would like to contribute, please contact jasmin.thompson@dcs.tas.edu.au.
This initiative aims to strengthen connections within our school community and provide practical support to families. We look forward to seeing how this opportunity can benefit and serve our community.
All donations can be dropped off at the Central Office.

DCS Community Lunch Orders – Subway
DCS Community offers all students the opportunity to order Subway lunches through the Canteen Hub app. Orders are placed via Canteen Hub and delivered directly to the school. Subway is available every Wednesday during school terms.
Order Cut-Off Time:
Subway orders close at 9:30pm every Tuesday
Subway lunch orders will recommence for Term 3 on Wednesday, 5 August.
