Grade 3/4 News

The Grade Three and Fours have been investigating plant and animals as part of our Biological Science unit. In the next week, all students will be planting their own alfalfa seeds to watch them grow. In week 8 of this term, we will be going on an excursion to IMAX to watch the 3D movie, “The Flight of the Butterflies”. 

In Mathematics, the students are working on collecting and representing data as tallies or graphs. They are also learning to interpret data from different types of sources. 

In Reading and Writing, our focus will switch to explanation texts. This will tie in well with Biological Science and how our world works.
