Principal's Message

Term 2 is progressing well. Currently our Year 3-6 students are taking part in the Attitudes to School Survey.  The purpose of this state-wide survey is to give schools insight into what is working well for students and any areas of concern. The information helps schools to provide the happiest and best learning environment for students.

Next week will be Education Week. The theme for Education Week 2025 is Celebration of Cultures. This is a theme that is so relevant in our school.  Classrooms will be open between 9.00am and 11.00am on Wednesday 21st May and we invite parents and carers to visit classrooms and take part in learning activities.

We have a number of exciting events coming up including excursions and the year 5/6 Camp to Arrabri Lodge.

Although currently we have been enjoying lovely Autumn weather, as the weather becomes colder it is important that all students have their warm school jumpers.  Currently we have a large number of items in our lost property area.  Please come and check if your child is missing a jumper and please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly named so that they can be returned if lost.

Next Friday, the 23rd of May we will be holding the Annual report to the School Community. This meeting will commence at 9:10 am in the staffroom.

As always, our staff are keen to work closely with families so please feel welcome to discuss your child’s progress with classroom teachers and sub school leaders at any time.

Enjoy the rest of the week.
