Special Education

School Wide Positive Behaviour Support

Gallery Image

For the past three weeks, students across all areas of Special Education have been coming to school well rested and ready to learn. It has been fantastic to see such a positive start to the term, with students engaged and prepared for learning each day.

As we move into the next phase of the term, our new focus will be "I will use respectful language" for the High Needs and Primary, while the secondary will focus on “I respect and listen to the opinion of others”.

We look forward to continuing to build positive learning habits and celebrating our students as they demonstrate this important expectation every day.

Michael has worked incredibly hard both at school and at home, and his dedication and perseverance have truly paid off. We are so proud of his outstanding effort and persistence. Congratulations, Michael, on this wonderful milestone—keep up the amazing work!

SM Report

On Friday 24th July, it was our turn to present at our Assembly. We decided that we would talk about things that we have done in the past 2 weeks.

we spoke about:

• Our science experiment ~ wiggly worms

• Cooking ~ rum balls and fried rice

• Cross country ~ going to Yarra Glen

We had photos printed, which we showcased and spoke about. It was our choice as to what we spoke about, even though we were nervous, we enjoyed showcasing our work to the rest of Special Education. We can’t wait to showcase what we learn for the rest of the term.
