Walking Together in Faith

Over the past few weeks, our Year 3 students have been blessed to spend time each Tuesday with Anthony, one of the seminarians from St Joseph's Parish, as they prepare for our upcoming Mary MacKillop Feast Day Liturgy and Feast of the Assumption Liturgy.

During these sessions, Anthony has been working alongside the students as they practise their readings, prayers, songs and responses, while also helping them to develop a deeper understanding of the significance of these important celebrations in our Catholic tradition. His warm and engaging approach has encouraged students to participate with confidence and reverence as they prepare to lead our school community in prayer.

These opportunities not only help students prepare for the liturgies but also strengthen the connection between our school and parish, allowing our faith to be lived and celebrated together. It has been wonderful to see the students grow in confidence each week and embrace their roles with enthusiasm and pride.

We extend our sincere thanks to Anthony for so generously sharing his time, faith and gifts with our students. We look forward to celebrating these special liturgies with our families and school community in the coming weeks.
