Principal's Report

Dear Parents and Families,
Well, what a fabulous afternoon/evening we had yesterday! Despite the fact that the weather gods tested us, it was such a wonderful Celebration of the Arts!
I’d like to recognise all the AMAZING children for their class and individual performances – it takes so much to stand up in front of hundreds of people like that and do it so well! The Art works that were on display in our gallery area were just magnificent, too. So many superlatives. I’d also like to thank YOU – our families – for coming along and supporting your children and school. What a community. A huge thanks also must go out to our specialist team of teachers for bringing this all together, truly amazing.
Term Three is now coming to a close – only one week to go – and that is hard to believe. We’ve had a LOT of student and staff illness this term, so I’m hoping as the weather clears up, so do the viruses!
A last couple of reminders for some important dates/times that you need to be aware of:
- Friday 19th September: 2PM Dismissal
- Term 4 resumes on Tuesday 7th October (Monday 6th is a Pupil Free Day)
- Tuesday 4th November – Melbourne Cup Public Holiday
- Friday 21st November – Pupil Free Day for Report Writing
I hope you all have a lovely holiday break and enjoy some quality family time together.
Thank you all for helping finish this term on a high with this week’s Celebration of the Arts event.
Until I see you in person,
David Garner
