*Federal Government Grant Opportunities:

On behalf of Senator Jana Stewart, we write to notify you of federal government grant opportunities that may be of interest to members of our school community: 

 

To boost education opportunities and narrow the digital divide, the Australian Government is providing up to 30,000 eligible families with no internet at home a free National Broadband Network (NBN) service through the School Student Broadband Initiative (SSBI). The SSBI is receiving nominations until the end of 2024.

Resilience in Recovery

Resilience in Recovery is a community-led, Government assisted team. 

The teams main goal is to provide assistance in community-led recovery with government support. The Flood Recovery team strives to help communities become sustainable, resilient, and better able to withstand future disasters.

With the school holidays only a few days away, we were hoping you would be able to let your students know about the up and coming School Holiday show at Riverlinks “The Listies – Make Some Noise!”. I have included an image that could go in a newsletter if possible.

Riverlinks is also running a colouring competition which has the prize of either a family pass (2 adults and 2 children) or a prize pack of a tote bag and 2x books.  If you are happy to hand out or send out the competition it is attached as well.
