Inform & Empower Incursions

In 2026 we are proud to continue to partner with Inform and Empower to provide our students with termly explicit teaching of digital safety and wellbeing.

Through these engaging livestream sessions students will learn about many important concepts from their digital footprint to how to handle uncomfortable situations, they will walk away from each session with a new tool to add to their toolkit for navigating the digital world.

Each session students will come home with a FAQ sheet for families to support families in their conversations and digital habits at home. We know this is a useful tool for our parents and building our school and parent partnerships

We will continue to work with Inform and Empower in 2026. They will deliver age appropriate Cyber Safety lessons to all students from Prep - Year 6 throughout 2026.

SAVE DATE: ST ROCH'S ART SHOW FRIDAY 9 OCTOBER 2026

Champions at the Cross Country

Our athletes gave everything at District Cross Country Friday 15th of May. The team faced tough competition, warm weather and hills. Every runner showed incredible stamina and determination. The team spirit  was strong as runners cheered each other on at every opportunity.

Everyone contributed to the win and multiple athletes placed in the top five for their race which sees them progress through to Division:

3rd place - Amelia Kirkwood and Oscar Nolan

5th place - Matthew Mount

8th place - Tabitha O'Connor

13th place - Charlotte Strauss

Thank you to Mr Pinchbeck who trained the children at lunchtimes and to the parents who cheered loudly from the sidelines - your energy kept our runners moving forward. We are incredibly proud of this achievement. Go St Roch's

Huge congratulations are in order as St Roch's not only had some amazing individual achievements but the Cross Country team won the Small Schools Division for the first time ever.  An amazing achievement!

We wish Amelia, Oscar, Matthew, Tabi and Charlotte all the very best at Division Cross Country where they will compete in a few weeks time.  We have full confidence that they will be striving to improve their positions, overtake on the uphill and will do their very best!

St Roch's Swimming Carnival

Congratulations to Loughnan House and to the Loughnan House leaders Grace and Harriet,  on their close win at our recent St Roch's Swimming Carnival at Harold Holt Swimming Pool.

It was a tremendous day giving our students in Year 2 - Year 6 the opportunity to compete in the pool and also enjoy participating in some novelty events. Thanks to Mrs King for her impeccable planning and coordination of the event, to all the staff for their tireless energy in supervising and scoring and to our many generous parents who helped out on the day in different roles. All very important to the smooth running of the day and allowed for a great afternoon in the pool.
