Our next P&C meeting will be held on Monday 1st June at 5:00pm. We’d love to see you there, in person or online!
The P&C has plenty happening! Families can now join P&C meetings virtually, so keep an eye on your emails for the Teams link if you’d like to attend online.
A quick canteen reminder: please send the correct change with Friday lunch orders where possible. If you think your family may be ahead or behind on payments, or if you’d like to help with our canteen roster (just one Friday morning per term!), please contact Hugh Cook on 0403 086 970 or email rockyriverpandc@gmail.com.
We’re excited to share that our $5,000 grant application has been successful, going towards supporting the school’s Speech Pathology services for students. A huge thank you to ACEN New England Solar for this generous contribution to Rocky River students' learning and growth. We are so fortunate to have a school that prioritises access to such beneficial services for our students.
Well done to our Rocky River students, who represented our school so well in the Anzac Day march & ceremony. Thank you to Dylan de Vree for organising the icypoles and water for the Anzac Day March, and to Stef & Hugh Cook for assisting with distribution on the day.
The P&C have once again been able to secure student insurance to cover our students after our previous insurer ceased to provide cover. Parents will need to contact the P&C either directly or via the school to make a claim. Things that have been typically claimed under this insurance are things like dental costs, glasses/braces etc (if damaged by the claimed incident), crutches, medical aids, cash benefit for time off school due to injury, ambulance costs, broken bone benefit and physio costs.
