Thank you for your generous support of our social justice initiatives in Term One. We donated the $200 collected through the Project Compassion boxes to Caritas Australia. We also raised $147 selling Zooper Doopers in support of Joseph's Corner.

Later this term, we will let you know how we will support the St Vincent de Paul's Winter Appeal.

Confirmation Formation Evening: change of date

Please note that due to a change in the availability of our presenter, the date for the Confirmation Formation evening has been changed to Wednesday, 15th July, 6:00 pm at St Augustine's. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

Prayer Reflection

Prayer teaches us how to live and respond with care. When we pray, our human limits are met by God’s boundless love and possibility. In that space, our thoughts, words, and actions can help interrupt cycles of harm and be shaped for good, placed at the service of God’s Kingdom.

This is a Kingdom marked not by violence or revenge, but by dignity, understanding, and forgiveness.

As we continue to celebrate the risen Christ during this Easter season, let us turn our hearts toward this Kingdom of peace and help build it day by day—in our homes, schools, neighbourhoods, and in our civic and faith communities.

Lord Jesus,

you overcame death not through

force or violence,

but through the quiet strength of

peace and love.

                 Gift us with your peace—

as you offered it to the women

who came to the tomb in uncertainty,

and to the disciples who sheltered behind locked doors in fear.

Breathe into us your Spirit,

the gentle breath that brings life,

heals wounds, and restores relationships, drawing us closer to one another

as sisters and brothers.

May violence and war

give way to compassion and care,

and may the Earth be cherished by those who know how to nurture, protect, and love all life.

Hear us, Lord of life. Amen
