All international academic scholarships are assessed for scholarships automatically at the time of application, making it easier for students to apply direct into courses and to be assessed for a scholarship at the same time. 

If you have been successful, our Admissions Office will issue a separate letter relating to your scholarship, along with a Letter of Offer for your course. Check them out HERE.

The rights of international students at work

If you have any concerns about how you are being treated at work, ask your school career advisor for help.

International students have the same workplace rights and protections as anyone else working in Australia.

Here’s what you need to know before starting to work in Australia:

• You must be paid at least the minimum wage
• You must pay tax on your income
• You must receive notification of your payment

International students can contact the Fair Work Ombudsman for help if they’re having workplace issues, without fear of their visa being cancelled.
