ECU Student Equity, Diversity and Disability Service
This is a free, confidential service for students with a disability and/or medical condition, either permanent or temporary, and can help make uni life a better experience.
Curtin Disability & accessibility support
If you have a disability, physical or mental health condition, or if you are caring for someone with a disability, you can access a range of support services and assistance to help you succeed at Curtin.
UniAccess is a team of highly qualified advisors who support students with a disability or an ongoing, temporary or episodic medical condition. UniAccess also supports students who are carers of someone with a medical condition or disability.
If you have a disability or health condition (including mental health), or you are caring for a person with disability, we encourage you to reach out to us to discuss the support you may need whilst undertaking your studies.

If you have a disability, injury, medical condition, mental health condition or learning difficulty, the Access and Inclusion Advisor can support you.
30 November Charlie Bell scholarship closes
Each year, the scholarship awards $5,000 grants to young people aged 15-20 who have had their education disrupted due to medical challenges and are now preparing to pursue university, TAFE, or vocational studies in 2026.
The funds can be used towards university fees, apprenticeship tools, course supplies, or anything that helps remove barriers to success.
(Charlie Bell was an Australian who started his career as a teenager working in McDonald’s in Sydney and became the head of the McDonald’s global empire. He died of cancer aged 44.)
