Learning Specialist Update

Dear Families, Students and Community Members,

On Tuesday 16th September, during Periods 2 and 3, our Year 10 students will bring their entrepreneurial skills to life at this year's $40 Boss Market Day.

As part of the My Future My Pathway program, students have spent the term developing their own business and product ideas from the ground up — brainstorming concepts, researching their market, designing and producing their products, and finalising their pricing and marketing, all while working in small teams.

Market Day is the culmination of this work. Students will run their own stalls, selling products they have designed, made and promoted themselves, and putting their teamwork, problem-solving and enterprise skills into practice in a real, hands-on setting.

We will be welcoming some local primary schools to experience the market day, and year 7 and 8 students are also invited to attend, and welcome to bring cash to make purchases. Students will not handle any cash, they will exchange for 'Mordi Money' at the beginning and at the end of the market.

Where: Mordialloc College Gym.
