Carlo Acutis Exhibition 

On Monday, 10 of our student captains had the privilege of joining over 110 students to attend the Saint Carlo Acutis Exhibition. The event offered a deeply inspiring look into the life and legacy of Saint Carlo Acutis, with the highlight for our student leaders being the rare opportunity to view his first-class relic. A sincere thank you to Mrs Lantry and Mrs Woods for accompanying our captains to make this meaningful experience possible. 

Catholic Mission Launch 

Our vice captains, Grace and Harry, recently represented our school 

at the Catholic Mission Launch held at St John’s, Dapto. Inspired by the gathering, they are already hard at work planning a range of initiatives to raise much-needed funds for Malawi through Catholic Mission's Socktober campaign. Through Socktober, students engage with global mission initiatives and build empathy by creating sockballs from recycled materials, reflecting the resourcefulness and joy of children in Malawi and around the world. Stay tuned for upcoming events as Grace and Harry lead our school community in kicking goals for good and making a real difference for children and families in need!

Bishop’s Annual Appeal 

This year, the students of St Joseph’s feature in the Bishop’s 

Annual Appeal, a vital campaign that provides dignified care for our retired and unwell clergy, as well as essential support for our seminarians as they prepare for the priesthood. A huge congratulations to ourstudents, who featured so wonderfully in this year's official appeal video! Thank you- Vision and Mission parent Survey

A sincere thank you to all parents and carers who took the time to complete our Vision and Mission survey. Your thoughtful feedback and insights are invaluable as we work to ensure our school’s vision remains Christ-centred, current, and formative. If you would like to discuss your thoughts or share further feedback in person, please know that I am more than happy to meet and listen. Moving forward, the next step in our process will be gathering with a dedicated team to begin reviewing, refreshing, and rewriting our Vision and Mission statements to reflect the present and future of our school community.

Confirmation

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Year 6 candidates who recently received the Sacrament of Confirmation across two beautiful and reverent liturgies. It was a deeply moving celebration of faith, and we would like to express a special thank you to Mrs Rogers, Mr Matthews, and Mrs Fursey for their dedication and hard work in thoroughly preparing the students for this sacred milestone. We were also delighted that Bishop Brian made an extra effort to share just how tremendously proud he was of our students for their reverence, participation, and understanding of the Sacrament. Congratulations Year 6! 

Year 2- First Reconciliation 

We would like to extend a warm thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us for the First Reconciliation Parent Information and Prayer Evening. For those who were unable to attend, enrolment forms can be collected directly from the parish office. Please ensure that all completed forms are returned either directly to the parish office or handed in during Sunday Mass.

If your child has not been Baptised into the Catholic Faith and you wish for them to participate in the Sacraments (Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation), please contact the Parish Office as soon as possible to ensure that your child can participate alongside the rest of their grade.
