Mrs Jackie Stockdale
As we reach the end of Term 1, we take a moment to celebrate the achievements, growth, and dedication of our students, staff, and families. It has been a busy and rewarding term, filled with learning, collaboration, and community spirit. From the excitement of the first days back to the many classroom successes, special events, and extracurricular activities, our school has been alive with energy and enthusiasm.
I extend our gratitude to our hardworking staff for their commitment to creating engaging learning environments, to our students for their perseverance and curiosity, and to our families for their ongoing support. I hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved break and returns refreshed for an exciting Term 2 ahead. Wishing you all a safe and restful holiday!
We are excited to share some wonderful news as we head into the holidays—Miss Hart will be celebrating her wedding during the break! When she returns for Term 2, she will do so as Mrs McClay. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to her for this special occasion. May her wedding day be filled with love, joy, and beautiful memories. We look forward to welcoming her back as Mrs McClay and hearing all about her celebrations!
We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our brand-new sport tops, which made their debut when our Grade 5-6 students proudly represented our school at the Campaspe Team Tennis competition. The new tops not only look fantastic but also showcase our school spirit and unity. It was wonderful to see our students wearing them with pride as they competed with enthusiasm and sportsmanship. A big thank you to everyone involved in making these new uniforms possible—we can’t wait to see them in action at future events! A huge thank you to Salters Panel Works Echuca, Nathan West Plumbing, Oldy’s Electrical and MBM Designs for sponsoring these incredible tops.
A heartfelt thank you to all our families for their generous donations to our annual Easter raffle! Your contributions helped create an incredible selection of prizes, making this year’s raffle a huge success.
We hope you enjoy your delicious Easter treats! Your generosity and support continue to make our school community so special. Wishing everyone a joyful and safe Easter break!
Last week, our school came together to celebrate Harmony Day, recognising and embracing the rich diversity within our community. Harmony Day is a special occasion that highlights the importance of inclusivity, respect, and a sense of belonging for all. To mark the day, our students enjoyed an incredible multicultural disco hosted by the one and only DJ GeeGee! A huge thank you to Mrs. Gee for organising this fantastic experience—it was a joyful celebration filled with music, dancing, and fun. It was wonderful to see our students celebrating different cultures and coming together in the spirit of harmony!
Our school was proud to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day, embracing the theme with enthusiasm and a wonderful sense of community. Students and staff wore their brightest and most mismatched socks to show support and raise awareness, creating a sea of color across the school. It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, having conversations about inclusion, and celebrating the unique strengths and contributions of people with Down syndrome. Thank you to everyone who participated and made the day so special—your support truly showcased the spirit of acceptance and belonging in our school!
To focus on the positive we will acknowledge students with excellent attendance at the end of the term!!
