Project Compassion Update

Thank you to all of our families who so generously gave during Lent to Project Compassion. As a school, we raised over $400 that will go directly to those in need. Well done STMM! 

SVDP Winter Appeal

This term, our focus is the SVDP Winter Appeal. Each grade will be asked to bring in an item to contribute towards hampers that will be donated to SVDP to help those in need this winter. This year, the focus will be on the Working Homeless, an emerging group of people who are experiencing housing hardship and disadvantage despite being in employment. 

Following the success of last year, students in Year 4-6 will be invited to participate in the Winter SleepOut and the staff will be participating in a sandwich making session. More information will come regarding these events. 

Students are invited to wear their pyjamas and bring a gold coin for SVDP on Friday 31st May.  

Sacrament of Confirmation

This year, the Sacrament of Confirmation will take place on Saturday 22nd June at 11am OR 1pm. Parents of candidates must attend the Information Session on Wednesday 8th May, attend commitment mass (our family mass) Saturday 18th May and two formation sessions. If there are any further questions please contact the Sacramental Coordinator, Inez. 

ANZAC DAY 

Thank you to Ms Courtenay and Year 6 who led our school in a beautiful liturgy to recognise ANZAC Day. Year 6 led with reverence, respect and pride.
