Congratulations to the class of 2023 for the completion of their VCE Exams and Valedictory evening. We all look forward to you receiving your results and beginning the next steps toward your future pathways. 

Year 10 and 11 Exams

Congratulations to all Year 10 and Year 11 on completing Semester 2 examinations and moving successfully into 2024 Headstart classes. Any Year 10 students who are participating in school approved events such as Volleyball, please ensure that you contact your Headstart teacher to find out what you missed and to collect holiday homework. 

Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars

The Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program is an academic enrichment program designed to support high-achieving secondary school students in achieving their personal best. Each year, high-achieving Year 10 students from Victoria and select schools in the border regions of New South Wales or South Australia are encouraged to apply for the Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program. Successful applicants will take part in an exciting two-year program of events and activities that will expand their academic and personal horizons and set them up for success at Melbourne, and beyond.

We would like to congratulate Patrick Mackew as the successful recipient of the class of 2025 Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars. 

2024 Year 12 Tertiary Day at Swinburne - Tuesday 6 February

This is a pathways/education day at Swinburne University - Hawthorn Campus that is a component of the Headstart program. 

The purpose of this program is to assist students to enhance their study skills and preparation as part of their Year 12 course of study as well as introduce students to a range of pathway options, programs and tertiary institutions including: The University of Melbourne, Monash University, LaTrobe University, Victoria University, Deakin University, RMIT, ACU and TAFE amongst others. 

2024 Year 11 VCE Orientation 

Year 11 Students will begin the year with two days of activities off-campus to support them with their transition into VCE. 

Day 1: Swinburne University - Thursday 8 February 2024

Year 11 House activity and Party Safe presentation. Morning tea and lunch provided.

Day 2: Funfields Whittlesea - Friday 9 February 2024

Students will have access to all park facilities including rides and water slide. For students interested in water based activities swimwear, a towel and dry clothes are required. Morning tea and lunch available for purchase at the Funfields Canteen or BYO. 

Cost $85 and consent on Compass is required.
