And  in other other important news from Mr Kost.....

a big Congratulations goes to Mr. Otto

On Saturday 13th of September, Mr Otto played his 200th AFL game for Old Brighton Grammar.  It was an Elimination Final against University Blues at Elsternwick Oval.

The weather was good for football and both sides were ready for a big game.  In the first quarter University Blues jumped out to a 5 goal lead.  Even Mr. Kost was worried that Mr. Ottos’ team had let it slip away early.

After the quarter time talk, both sides went out to battle again and this time it was Old Brighton Grammar's turn to shine and at half time they led by 2 points.  Mr otto (number 8) was everywhere in the second quarter taking great marks, lots of hard ball gets and even having a shot at goal.

The 3rd quarter was an arm wrestle and a low scoring affair.  Both teams dug in and didn't give an inch and the score remained very even.

In the last quarter Old Brighton Grammar managed to get on top of the opposition and stretch out the lead winning the game.

Old Brighton Grammar 14. 6. 90

University Blues             9.11. 65

Well done Mr. Otto, your 200th game was a very memorable one! Good luck in the Preliminary Final against St Kevins Toorak.
