Dear Families, 

It has been a short but busy week at SHNPS. We got the opportunity to meet some of our 2026 Prep/Foundation students on Wednesday and Thursday this week. It was great to have so many families join us and see what a great school we have at SHNPS. We have more Come and Try day next week. 

Principal Conference

Last week I attended the Victorian Government Schools Principal Conference.

The conference theme was Excellence in Every Classroom. 

I had the opportunity to hear from excellent speakers, as well as learn more about the Department of Education’s evidence-informed direction.

Uniform

As we enter the cooler months, please ensure students have their school jumper on and not a casual jumper. We have spare jumpers at the office if students need them. 

Students will be asked to take beanies and coats off inside so they can stay warm outside. 

Duty of Care

Families are reminded that teachers are on duty before school from 8.30am-8.50am and after school from 3.20pm until 3.30pm. Children should not be unattended in the school grounds before or after these times. Thank you for your support and co-operation with this.
