Mornington Beach Day Years 3-6 – Volunteers needed
Mornington Beach Day for students in Years 3 - 6 is just around the corner!
On Monday, 8th December, we will be heading to Mills Beach in Mornington to participate in the Beach Day Program. The program will run from 10am to 2pm approximately.
For the day to run smoothly, we are seeking 12 parent volunteers—we currently have 2.
If you are available to assist, your help would be greatly appreciated. Please email me at tpeacock@sbsomerville.catholic.edu.au to express your interest.

Blasters Cricket Day
What a fantastic day our cricketers had on Friday. Well done to all our students who participated with energy and enthusiasm while displaying great sportsmanship; Archer, Casey, Archie, Diesel, Harry, Abel, Zac, Alex, Hudson, Levi, Maddie J, Jade, Tilly, Alexis, Luka, Annabella, Summer and Mia F. A huge thank you to Mrs Edgar and Miss Brickwood for attending and coaching the teams!
Year 3-6 Swimming Program
Congratulations to all the students who participated in the Year 3-6 Swimming Program. It was a fantastic effort, with students practising their swimming skills and techniques daily over five days. Well done to everyone involved for your enthusiasm and dedication.
A huge thank you to our amazing teachers and LSOs for ensuring the students were safe and well-cared for throughout the week, both at the pool and during the trips to and from Pelican Park. Your hard work made this program a success! This week, it’s the Foundation to Year 2 students’ turn. We wish them a fantastic week of fun and learning in the water!
