Food Sharing

Just a reminder that Drysdale PS has a no food sharing policy. This is in place to keep the school compliant with allergy and anaphylaxis advice from both the Department of Education and Allergy and Anaphylaxis Australia.

"While the department does not support food bans or allergen-free environments, schools must consider the needs of children with food allergies. Schools should encourage students not to consume particular high risk foods at school, particularly if they have a child with a food allergy in their class."

Students are encouraged to only eat their own food, and parents are asked not to drop off food at the office to share with their friends.
