Swimming Carnival 2026 

Last Wednesday, our enthusiastic Year 2-4 swimmers, along with all Year 5-6 students, attended the Meadowbank PS swimming carnival. The atmosphere was terrific as our swimmers gave their all to earn points for their houses. A huge thank you to our amazing Year 5 and 6 students who assisted with timekeeping, playing a crucial role in the success of the event. 

Two of our swimmers put in exceptional performances this year: Leah W and Hazel Y broke school records. Leah broke the 50m Backstroke record and Hazel broke the 50m Freestyle record. Congratulations! 

The winning house for this year’s carnival and ribbons for events will be handed out at a special assembly next Friday. 

Congratulations to all our swimmers. We look forward to seeing even more participants next year. Keep up the great swimming, Meadowbank!  

Zone Representative – Basketball 

The PSSA Zone Basketball trials were recently held at our school.  We had several students who represented our school, showcasing their high-level basketball skills. 

Congratulations to Leo M, who was selected to represent the Ryde Zone in basketball.  Leo will attend the combined trials later this week.  We wish him the best of luck.
