Acting Principal

Brendan Gill

Thank you to all staff and students for their work as part of the Fusion Festival this week. It has been a magnificent celebration of the Arts at MacKillop Catholic College, showcasing the importance of creativity, collaboration, and cultural expression. We are incredibly proud of our Arts program, which plays a vital role in fostering critical thinking, self-expression, and a deeper understanding of both Australian culture and the world.

Through disciplines like visual arts, music, drama, and dance, students build confidence and problem-solving skills, preparing them for diverse careers. Next year promises even more excitement with the production of our College Musical, The School of Rock, further highlighting the vibrant arts community at our school. We thank families for supporting our students at these events.

We are currently busy planning for the end-of-year events and celebrations, ensuring that we finish 2024 on a high note with memorable experiences for our students and community. At the same time, we are preparing for an exciting new school year in 2025, working to enhance our programs and opportunities for all students. A back-to-school pack will be distributed to families next week.
