GSPV Winners! Connected Schools Athletics Carnival

Yesterday, students from across our Connected Schools community came together for the annual Connected Schools Athletics Carnival.

A wonderful day of teamwork, encouragement and friendly competition between Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School, St Paul Lutheran School, and Good Shepherd Lutheran School, with Endeavour College students setting up, coaching and supporting each event.

We’re proud to share that Good Shepherd were the overall winners of this year’s carnival! Our students displayed fantastic effort, sportsmanship and school spirit throughout the day, cheering one another on and celebrating every achievement.

A heartfelt congratulations goes to all students from our Connected Schools for their enthusiasm, determination and the way they represented their schools so proudly.

GS Warriors

06/11/2025

This week saw another derby showdown between the Warriors and Gators and it did not fail to deliver another exhilarating game.  The game started similar to how these games always tend to start with some frantic play due to the enthusiasm from both team.

For the first 5 minutes the Warriors were unable to keep any meaningful possession of the ball with the Gators players forcing numerous turnovers, unfortunately for the Gators they couldn’t fully capitalise on these turnovers and turn them into points to establish a lead.

As the game progressed the Warriors took more of a hold on the game and built a 10 point lead by half time.  During the second half the Gators came back strong and were able to reduce the lead to 5 points with 5 minutes remaining, however the Warriors were able to regroup and push out again to finish the game with a 10 point win.  Again all players played the game in great spirit and it is clear to see that the showdowns bring out the best in all the players. Warriors 33 Def Gators 23.

Warriors: Eden 15, Nate 6, Charlie 4, Rhys 4, Flynn 2 & Shaurya 2.

Gators: Cooper 13, Madeleine 6 & Jude 4.
