Year 6 Hooptime Highlights

On Friday the 8th of August, 52 Year 6 students travelled by bus to Cardinia Life Recreation Centre to take part in a full day Hooptime tournament - and what a day it was! 

The energy, the sportsmanship and the basketball skills on display were truly impressive. Our students represented the school brilliantly, and we could not be prouder of them.

A special shout out goes to the All Star Girls Team and the Future Star Girls Team. Both teams made it through to the semifinals and fought hard right until the final whistle.

We would also like to thank the wonderful student volunteers from Berwick College, who coached the players with professionalism and enthusiasm. Their impressive knowledge of strategy and game play not only elevated the experience for our students but also helped them refine their skills and play with greater confidence.

It was a fantastic day of basketball, teamwork and school spirit. Well done, Year 6!

District Athletics

On Tuesday, August 12th our athletics team participated in the Edwin Flack District Atheltics Carnival, which was held at Casey Fields Regional Athletics Centre. The students competed in a range of individual events as well as the 100m relay. 

Well done to the team for making it through to this level of competition and congratulations to those students who have qualified for Divisional Athletics, which will be held on September 17th.
