Auslan

Grade 4 and 5 students have been revising Auslan numbers and learning how to sign shapes. They played Find the Treasure, where they had to use both expressive and receptive signing skills to locate hidden gold using map coordinates! Students also created Shape Pictures and enjoyed Race-A-Shape to practise their newly learnt vocabulary.

Grade 6 students have been focusing on Auslan grammar structures and learning how to ask questions in Auslan. They had lots of fun practising these skills through Auslan Wooden Towers and Snakes and Ladders — with special twists that required them to ask and answer questions in Auslan!
