Last Friday, the Foundation students celebrated a very special milestone – 100 Days of School. This year's theme, "100 Days Brighter," saw students arrive dressed in their brightest and most colourful clothes, filling the classrooms with smiles and sunshine.

The day began with a range of fun learning activities based around the number 100. Students enjoyed decorating delicious biscuits and participated in engaging tasks celebrating everything they have learned during their first 100 days of school.

One of the highlights of the day was welcoming the students’ grandparents and special friends into the classroom. Together, they completed a special activity and enjoyed the beautifully decorated biscuits. It was wonderful to see so many families and special visitors sharing this memorable occasion with the children.

The celebrations continued in the Multi-Purpose Room, where the Foundation students proudly shared some of the learning they have achieved so far this year before performing a special song for their guests. Their enthusiastic performance delighted the audience and highlighted the confidence, growth and joy of learning they have developed throughout their first year of school.

After recess, the Year 6 buddies joined the Foundation classes to create colourful "100 Days Brighter" crowns. The buddy activity provided another wonderful opportunity for our youngest and oldest students to work together, strengthening the friendships they have built throughout the year.

To finish off an exciting day, the Foundation students were treated to a fantastic magic show by Amazing Mr Twist. His amazing tricks, humour and interactive performance had everyone laughing, cheering and wondering, "How did he do that?"

The 100 Days Brighter celebration was a wonderful way to recognise how much our Foundation students have learned, grown and achieved during their first 100 days of school. We are so proud of each and every one of them and look forward to many more exciting learning adventures together.

3 / 4's

Growing as Stewards of God's Creation

The Year 3/4 cohort has been busy planting snow peas as part of our Religion unit, Caring for Our Common Home. Throughout this unit, students have been learning about how we can care for God's creation by being responsible stewards of our world and making choices that protect and nurture the environment. Each day, students water their snow peas, observe their growth and record the changes they notice. This hands-on experience helps bring our learning to life as we care for living things with patience and responsibility. We can't wait to watch our snow peas flourish over the coming weeks.
